    Hello all. Victor - @YotaTuneR L.L.C.
    vF PRO Tuner

    After being disappointed with my Tacoma’s performance. I started to research.
    Bought the OVTUNE Package. Bought a tune & ran it for a little - It was good.
    Got Valley Runner Tune & ran it Daily for about a month- Better.
    Impressed with it so much that i'm now SoCal Rep for Valley Tuning www.valleytune.com

    Owner Jeff used his tuning experience to develop a Great Tune for the Tacoma Community.

    I drive daily to O.C. & i can attest to it being a great Daily Driver Tune.
    Great balance of HP, Torque.
    Pedal is smooth - Especially in Stop & Go Traffic.
    Power is there when you need it.

    On the 241 Toll Road - it's a steady climb & stays in gear. No gear hunting back & forth. @ 80 MPH it still has a punch - even on a hill.

    Live in Inland Empire, Ca. Work in O.C.

    Thanks for the Feed back is one of my main testers on Valley Runner Tune. He is a mechanic with a state agency - A Car/Truck guy.
    His testing and feed back helps with our knowledge on how the Tune is working.
    He is running our Valley Runner Tune. Auto. Octane Learning. 5.29 Gears. 35" Tires.

    Recent Text from "I'm really surprised with the performance offroad even just the slow rock crawling and blasting down the trails at fast speeds"

    Hey All.

    For all you Overlanders. Last week i tuned a Tacoma with 700# of Cap & Tent. He said it was the first time the truck moved so good with the load. He had OVTune Performance Tune before i Updated him to Valley Runner. He is very happy with the instant results. "Truck is moving..not having a hard time getting up a hill" - "Does have Power to pull..not struggling" - "Perfect for Overlanding"

    Talked to him yesterday. he went Camping over weekend with all the xtra Camping gear #'s. "The combination of your Tune & 5.29 gears helped the truck to move easily"

    Check it out on my other media - Video coming soon.

    I know your waiting patiently for the 2Gen Tacoma Tunes to come out. As soon as i know i Will Post.

    Once it comes out from OVTune - then we (Valley Tuning) can customize it & have it ready for the 2Gen's.

    VFTuner - "we have 2nd Gen Tacoma release scheduled for early 2021, after we finish the Tundra release."

    Read the latest below:
    https://forum.vftuner.com/forum/toyota-4-0l-1grfe-development/896-tunes-for-2nd-gen-tacoma

    They have 4runners 2009 - 2019 OVTunes out now. We are in process of Customizing those for Valley Tuning.
    I say that because 4Runners have the 4.0 - so now they can use that info to get the Tunes out for 4.0 2Gens & FJ's.
    Certain Years and ECU's are different - so they can take the base & tweek it to fit the different years.
    Next year will be great for getting more of the line up Tuned.

    Oh and they are working on a Tune for the New 3.5 Turbo Tundra !!!

    Latest from VFTuner:
    @01 dhrracer

    "We have a lot planned to fully revamp our 2nd gen Tacoma stuff for this platform since as of recently people have been saying it's lack luster and I'm tired of hearing people using HP Tuners talk bad about it. So we will be developing quite a bit for it and adding a ton more tables. So here comes a mass revamp and cheap tune packs. We will make sure to add things and do stuff with our tunes HP Tuners can't to make it extra appealing"

    Would it make sense to regear first? Will be going to 4.56. Already have moved up in tire size to 285/75/17 4.0 AT No supercharger. What is your take on the cam gear replacement? Do you need test vehicles?

    Hello
    @01 dhrracer

    I had a 1Gen Tacoma for 18 yrs. Then my 2020. Didn't know about the Cam Gear Replacement. Just looked it up. Looks like a low cost Mod for more HP. Interesting.
    If you are going to Regear. I would suggest get it done and by the time the 2nd Gen Tunes are out you will have broken it in.

    Sending you a PM.
