Would an OV Tune improve throttle response enough to eliminate the need to add a Sprint Booster?
I see Sprint Booster includes different adjustable driving modes. Would this make it worth adding ON TOP of an OV Tune?

I run a sprint booster full time, but no OV tune. It is my understanding that one or the other works best, not both simultaneously.

I’m sure OV tune is probably better, but do not feel the need for it.
Sprint booster and ECT all the time is enough for me.

@OVTune, do you have any additional info?

Ovtune remaps the throttle on the software side. Further spoofing throttle input on the hardware side is unnecessary and could degrade your experience, imo.

I sold my sprint booster after I got the OVTune. I did not run both at the same time when I had it and did not feel the need to run it for better throttle response after I was tuned.

I haven’t spent a lot of time reading up on OV Tune but I’m assuming it adjusts many parameters in the truck with throttle response just being one of them. Where as if you install Sprint Booster on top of OV Tune you gain adjustability of the throttle response. I wouldn’t think that would cause any harm.

Don’t get me wrong here. I’m just thinking out loud. I would have a hard time spending that kind of money on both. ESPECIALLY if my wife got wind of it!!!! Hahaha....

I can just envision explaining that to her: “Really honey! My truck is gonna run $700 better by just plugging into this little doohickey under the dash! Honestly!”

    LOL

It's a bit of a debate here too.

Technically you can and it will work, but throttle response might be scary touchy
