Just recline the seat back a notch or two. Works for me as I've got knuckle dragging arms.

He meant to say 4'-24". It's a common typo.

6'2" - longer drives sucked before the risers. Risers made a night and day difference.

I'm 6'1" and I hate it. I love my Tacoma but it's just one of those things I deal with.

I wish my steering wheel could go up 1 more foot. I hit my knee on it every single time I get in. I can't sit up straight or I hit the top.

I've looked extensively into lowering my seat and have not been able to find anything. I'm surprised to see so many tall people here mention a seat spacer helped them? Does your head not touch the top?

i'm 6ft. some days i feel comfortable some days not. i have a seat cover in the seat so i think the extra thickness does not help and i do feel i'm sitting too high. imma try to get the front risers see if it is more comfortable.

i'm just worried that my seat position don't leave any space for person to seat in the back seat.

In my old 94, the seats were like 6 inches tall. You were basically sitting right on the floor. So while Toyota has given a little more of a captain chair feel in the new 3rd gen, you are still basically sitting on the floor.

6ft here, no real issues though on longer drives my shoulders tend to rotate forwards creating tension and cramps in my traps, it gets uncomfortable.

6’1” and they seem fine when I can adjust the seat, the only complaint is I wish the seat bottom would tilt a little more to the rear

6’ 7” here and I got the seat risers. They made a world of difference for me. The seats are perfectly comfortable now and we have been on multiple 3+ hour trips without issue. No sunroof and I have plenty of room above my head.

Used front seat jackers then took them off when I realized I can’t see traffic lights unless I duck down a little.

    6'5", here.
went from a '90 SR5 X-tra Cab, where things were right on the hairy edge of comfort to my '17 DCOR, with Katzkin leather covers.
The Taco isn't real bad, but I am going to install the DDI Seatjackers on the front, to raise it, and give better thigh support for longer trips.

6’0” with power seats. My biggest complaint is the short length of the seat bottom. I’d prefer to have more of my thighs being supported. The rest of the truck is everything I want it to be.

I’m on the north end of 6’3, no moonroof, and manual seats. I’ve had a hard time finding a comfortable position. At first I felt almost too big for the truck. I have long legs, so I’m used to the routine of get in a vehicle and throw the seat all the way back as far as it’ll go. I also like to sit up straighter so I’m not sitting on my lower back as much.

I’m considering seat risers, but front risers won’t work for me because I can barely get me knees under the steering wheel now as it is. I seriously bashed my knee for the first week straight every time I got in the truck to drive it. It feels like I have to almost do a little dip to get me knees under the steering wheel when getting in or out.

I’ve been thinking about trying a set of rear seat risers, but an inch will probably make my hair touch the headliner. May try 1” blocks for mock-up to see how it feels before ordering them. Seems like most of the guys in this thread are going for the front risers over the rear though.

Did you do both front and back of the driver’s seat, or just the front? If both, did you try it without the back risers?
I figure I may as well do this when I get my seat covers and heating kit.

I'm 6-2 and have a second gen; I don't love the seats (TRD Sport) but I've done 700/day mile drives without any real complaint. Get the little adapter thing that lets you move the rear-view mirror up an inch or so -- it goes a long way to improving the view forward.
