It may be close looking at it from those angles, but I guess that you never know until you try. I would have to get the measurements from inside of one upright across to the other side. The measure my tonneau. I know that I would not be able to fold it up, but it is a short bed so reaching in there from the tailgate is not all that bad.

I would be looking at the distance from the inside bottom of the upright across the bed to the inside bottom of the upright directly across. I hope that I am explaining correctly. LOL. I think that my tonneau is about 61 1/2" wide, or there about. I will go outside and measure for sure. Thank you

Awesome. Take your time no hurry at all. Enjoy your workout. :benchpress: It looks like my tonneau is actually about 61 1/2" wide. It is an Extang Solid Fold 2.0.

2x, I have a 2nd gen with a camper shell but this setup is so clean and functional I would consider it. As a package I haven't seen anything close in form or function. This could work as a backcountry trip platform as well as a lumber/ladder rack around town.

It's pretty cool all that these racks can do. I will using for fishing , kayaks, bikes my Rtt , max tacks , hi lift , rotopax and yep some lumber :) makes my truck far more functional all without breaking the bank. Plus the damn thing looks great .

Thanks @Tacomamike mike for chiming in!
He is correct, the 2 racks do not connect.
I do plan on a 2nd gen as well and from my research it should be an easy transition. If there is anyone with a second gen that wants to come by my shop for measurements it would speed up the process. I'm in grass valley ca so pm me if interested.

I have a few other racks in the works as well.
I will be doing a headache/chaser rack for those that want a cab rack but don't need the full bed rack and will also be doing a mid high bed rack for rtt.
I have many options and accessories in the works as well!
I'm still working on the prices for the cab rack as manufacturing cost has come in much higher than originally thought.
As it stands right now the cab rack will be $649, that will include all hardware, 4 load bars and your choice between a light bar fairing or no light bar. Additional load bars will be $55 each.
I will be offering a black textured powder coat on everything but the load bars and that will be $75
Custom colors available for local pick up.

The bed rack is $1000 for the short bed and $1075 for the long bed. This includes all hardware and 3 load bars. Additional load bars are $55 each.
The flip up side doors/accessories mounts are going to cost a bit more than originally thought as well due to hardware cost.
I was not happy with the cheep China hinges so I am have custom hinges made in the USA to my specs. These will look much nicer and much higher quality than the hinges I was originally using!
The price for the doors will be $350 each for short bed and $400 for long bed. These will include locking latches, custom quick release billet hinges, gas struts and various mounting holes for accessories.
All racks will come ready for the doors so they can be added at anytime.
The weigh on the bed rack with all bolts is 44lbs for the short bed and 50lbs for the long bed.
    Cab rack is around 35lbs.
Both racks are cnc cut and formed from 1/8" 5052 aluminum.
Feel free to pm me if you have any questions or would like to order. I have 10 cab racks almost completed, the bed racks are about 3-5 weeks out.
    Thanks!
    Ben.

Curious why the load bars are not black powder coated.

Did not do black on those because I put everything up there , including lumber etc... Didn't want it to get chipped up:). It's aluminum so no chance of rust. Plus the end result came out looking great ( to me ) .

Thanks, it did for me. Ben is the one who thought it would be better that way at first. Glad I listened to him from a practical sense and estheticly also.

By the way, anyone wanting to see this rack setup first hand in the Roseville sacto area...just PM me and we can meet up. It looks better in person. Plus you can see all the detail stuff you might not notice in a pic :).

    Hi,
Will the bed rack work with backflip F1 covers where the rail attachments are moved lower? I am looking for a rack system that I can use my trifold cover with clearance from the rack while not having to remove the rack system when you need to have access to the Backflip cover. Any possibilities. This rack looks great! Is there any way to have longer brackets so it bolts to the lower rails?
    Thanks Nick
