These racks are hands-down the best I've seen by far. I'm really happy with mine, and Ben is helpful and a pleasure to do business with. IMG_3435.jpgIMG_3430.jpg

I am very excited you posted this, I have been wanting to see an image of a stock tacoma with(I assume your truck is stock...???) the racks installed, the fact that its a MGM DCSB TRDOR is even better. Thats exactly how mine would look. Could you post more pictures from the side? Looking for a dead on side view.

Great looking truck by the way, I may be partial ;)

    Yep, it's virtually stock.

I'll try to post some additional pics to this thread in the next day or two.

I'm looking for a bed rack that will accommodate my fiberglass canopy. I see lots of pix with the soft top but I don't want to replace my canopy. It's great with the dog! I've got drawers underneath and the dog bed on the top. Now I want to put on a RTT. I have a ForeRunner roof rack but think I would prefer to put the RTT over the bed.

Will this rack work with a hard canopy? This looks like beautiful work!

What are the dimensions of your top? I can measure my rack for you, but I'm thinking width might be the issue if there is one.

It overhangs each side of the bed by approx 1".

I think there would also be some interference issues at the front of the bed - next to the cab. Not sure but from the pix it looks like that might be a problem area.

I'm guessing it would all work if the base were extended about an inch outboard on each side. I can't tell for sure but from the pix that's how it looks.

I've got a standard size cap so if it works for mine - it should work for everyone.

    Looks like damn nice work.

    Straight shot from the back.
one that clearly shows the overhang of the mounting bracket - probably again from the tailgate would be best.
another close up of what it looks like near the cab - so i can see the overhang etc.

    Thanks man!

Didn't get a chance to measure tonight but I'm thinking that
Sorry, I didn't a chance to measure today. I'll try doing it after my kid is asleep. But, the width of the rack is the same as the width of the cab, and the vertical pillars are around 1.5" - 1.75" wide, so you will loose twice that on the inside width of the rack, if that makes sense. IOW the inside width of the rack is around 3" narrower than the width of the cab...

Just eyeballing it - it's too narrow. The cap is too wide.

That's a nice looking rack though!

Yeah, I think it might be too narrow.

Anyway, about 62.25" inside width at bottom, 49.25" at top at bottom of transition to load bar.

Been asked. I'm not sure why it wouldn't. Looking at the rack today and was thinking of buying one off here to see if it fits, and if not how could make it fit.

I don't know - but look at how the rack is mounted - isn't that where you mount a tonneau?
