I have a few short bed racks and cab racks with light bar fairings coated and in stock, however I'm still a 1man show so we are probably looking at 3-4 weeks.
    Thanks!

@Dissent86 - A while back someone had asked about the possibility of a rack that mounts on a camper shell and matches your cab rack. Is this something you are still considering/willing to consider?

    @Dissent86 Just a few questions....

    1) Do the side doors lock?
    2) Will the high rise brackets work with a 270° awning (Foxwing style)?
    3) Any plans to make a lockable door above the tail gate?

I know....might as well buy a hard shell with those questions, but I like the option of just running a stand along bed rack, no rack, or everything to mount items and those items inside to be more secure with locking doors.

    Yes, the side doors lock.
The awning brackets may work with the Dow wing but I would need to see how they mount.
I do have a heavy duty awning bracket in the works for the alucab shadow 270 awning as well.
I would like to do a lockable rear hatch just not sure when, however it will bolt up to the existing racks and can be added when available.

Finally got my rack coated today with the new doors, custom hinges and a prototype maxtrax/rotopax quick mount. The mount can be installed on the doors, roof or bumper when available,
It will fit up to 4 maxtrax and a 4 or 3 gal rotopax. You can also do a 4gal in place of the maxtrax.
The new hinges are custom machined from 6061t6 aluminum and 304 stainless and are a quick mount lift off style for quick removal of the doors. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

What a great design. I'll get this in a heartbeat if only it works with my bed cover. Do you anticipating another model down the line for us guys that utilize bed covers?

It could work with some covers I just haven't had the opportunity to try it yet.
I do plan to test and chafe as needed for covers. I do know most try fold covers will fit but the base rails may need notched for latches.

Not yet, a rear door may be an add on item in the future.

I use the Pace Edwards cover. I currently utilize the KB VooDoo rack with it and it's serving me well. This just seem to be more of a cohesive design. Good luck with it all. I'll keep an eye on this and will definitely jump on it if I know this design (of future versions) work with my cover.

Are these full systems available for sale ? I don't see anything on your website for tacomas.Just landcruisers.

They are, the doors are complete and got the prototype hinges a week or so ago.
I'm still some man showdown unfortunately the website shows that.

Sorry for the lack of updates!
Been super busy with bumper orders.
Any ways here are a few updates and pics.
I installed the first set of custom cnc machined hinges along with the prototype aluminum maxtrax rotopax mounting box. This will either bolt to the doors or on top of the rack, it will hold 2-4 tracks or a 4gal rotopax inside and any size rotopax on top.
    Also coated both racks black.

Hey man thanks for the reply unfortunately I ordered a cbi full hoop front and a winch in the meantime. But Jesus Christ I love your design. Looks like I'll have to wait a month or two .. but I'll be back . Your design is the best I've seen hands down .

I got my racks last weekend and just finished up the install. I will echo what others have said about @Dissent86. The racks were perfect, everything lined up and installed easily, and the design/engineering is solid as a rock. He was great to work with and I will be waiting for the next great thing to come out of his shop once my wallet fills back up.
