Okay...I might have missed this somewhere, but is this for a lb or sb? Or do you plan to do both?

Only 3rd gen SB for now.
Hopes to include 3rd gen LB and both lengths for other gens in the future.

Pretty sure @Dissent86 will eventually build racks for all models and gens. Just has to have access to the other models to get measurements.

Shouldn't be to long after that the long bed versions are available.
Already have one lined up for measurements.

I'm interested in the LB to go over my softopper. Any chance the in having the mounting holes line up with the original mounting holes for the factory tiedown rails? I am looking to ditch the rails anyway and with some spacers I could re-use the holes.

No plans for that as the spacing may not work out for both.
    Why ditch the rails?

I never liked the OEM rails as they always felt flimsy when I tried to tie down to them. I would rather install the aluminum aircraft style rails myself. I would also be hard mounting my softopper with screws or rivets, so no need for them.

Also with the openings on your rack the tie-down rail is a bit redundant.

Got to get some good trail time on the rack this past week loaded up!
Did several hundred miles of dirt, rocks and trails along with some high speed offroad testing and all seemed to work great.
Also got to put the bumpers to the test in Moab on hells revenge and poison spider, both trails require some good clearance with many steep climbs and drops.
I did drag the factory hitch quite often but never touched the bumpers. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Just need to finalize a few details, mostly need to make sure I have a good reliable sorce for all the hardware, latches, hinges ect before I start production.
I'm hoping to get finalized soon but don't want to rush it into production and have issues later.

    Quick update.

The rack is for the most part finalized, I had a set back with sourcing the lift off hinges for the doors. I have to make sure I have all the hinges before I can start production.
Hopfully will have an update soon!
