I am very interested! How long before you have a cab rack built up and mounted with the bed rack? I want both...

Maybe mount an LED light bar centered in the rear horizontal frame peace with handles on each sides, could even be powered from the 110 bed outlet for those that don't want perm hardwired.

Just what ive been waiting for...

subd. Looks fun. Probably won't pull the trigger (just being honest, don't really need a topper), just in for the engineering ingenuity.

I'm still waiting for the official release/ sale of this thing! We are going on a road trip end of July and would like a rack to carry some extra stuff and maybe a Yakima RTT

I like the over the softopper look too. Must be modular and it would be nice to have a powder coat option. I am not sure where you are but I am in Portland Oregon and have a DCLB if you need a tester.

FYI...not all Softopper's have the same mounting system. Mine doesn't have the stair stepped c clamps and square bars. 2016 dclb. Just wanted to let you know in case it changes things for you...though looking at the pics, it probably won't effect anything.

Still finalizing some details before production.
Unfortunately it will not be released by the end of July.
Likely closer to the end of September.
    Sorry!

Installed the first set of roof load bars today!
There will be a side skirting to match the bed rack an a front wind fairing, there will also be the option for additional load bars.
The rack is about 2 1/4" higher that the tallest part of the cab and continues at the same height as the bed rack.

Sorry if I missed this, but can you fold down/up the Softopper with the rack on the truck? Or does the rack need to be removed?

Side note. Nice yurt  That platform is legit.

    Haha, thanks.

You cannot fold the top down however the entire top can be removed out the back in a matter of minutes. The sides can still be rolled up as well.
