It would look cool anodized too. Please don't price me out of the market. I really love this design.

I see the 530 area code on the website. What part of the north state is your operation out of?
From Redding, Ca myself. These bed racks look awesome and I really wish I would have done more research and gone this route instead of a snugtop.

Pretty sweet set up! I like the idea of softtopper/rack combo for my build. How hard is it to put up or take down the softopper with the rack in place? Do you have to remove the rack?

I keep checking back here daily just to see if you started selling this setup. Awesome work and design. I love the aluminum idea. I do however think if it was black it would look better on my white truck.

Could you also make them for models without a shark fin? Extra space might look odd if there's nothing to clear.

I'm sure most will have them coated but for marketing reasons I'm sticking with aluminum for a while. If it were black no one would know it's aluminum.

I could but the other reason for the height is to match up with the cab rack that's in development so the height will make sense soon.

    (Update)

I have the cab rack files off to the laser cutter and should have a complete cab rack by the end of the week or beginning of next.
The only hold up for the bed rack is the hinges for the doors!
My US sorce has been unreliable and I really don't want to sorce from China if I can avoid it so I'm looking into having hinges made locally to my specs. The problem is all the nuts are pressed into the rack for the hinges so I have to make sure I have a reliable sorce befor production.
Also have the long bed version and a short height version in the works and should have some pics soon.
Once you guys see the bed rack paired up with the cab rack it will all make sense!
Will post pics as soon as I have them.
Any one that knows me knows I'm not fast at getting things to market but that is only because I want to make sure every detail is perfect before I bring my products to market!
    Thanks for your patients!
    Ben.
