I went to Microcenter today in Yonkers, NY. Wanted to take my truck on a long ride and I needed some stuff.
I pull in to the parking garage and my antenna smacks the Enter sign (I was able to fit in the garage no problem). I'm not even lifted except for the 31" BFG's I have mounted.
What do you guys do that are lifted and maybe have RTT's mounted or other accessories?
Do you keep a measurement visible in your truck so you know where you can fit?

I never wrote it down but I know when I had my hardshell RTT on my cabrack, I was somewhere around 7ft 6" so anytime I came up to a garage where it was around that height, I would take it slow and get out to check.

Typically, I'll avoid a garage unless I know its plenty tall enough for the truck.

I remember going through a parking garage in Providence where the whilw ceiling was lined with metal pipes and wiring conduit. My antenna must have hit almost all of them. It was also 1am at the time too.

I just know my height and don't enter garages lower than that. I won't go in a garage lower than 7' as I sit right now.

7’4” max height with my antenna folded over. I don’t live where there are parking garages and when I’m somewhere with them I just avoid parking in them.

Put a piece of tape, or sticker on the back side of the sun visor with the truck height written on it. Then when you come up to a parking garage, you can just flip the visor down and compare with the height of the sign. Some parking garages are barely over 6'. It's amazing when you see all the severe scrape marks on the cross beams. You gotta wonder what people do when they scrape. Drive on through and hope none of them are lower than the one they just scraped? I doubt any of those people are smart enough to air down.

@GHOST SHIP gave the the bright idea of taping my antenna at the highest point of my truck. If i get up to one of those signs, I check how close it is to hitting the mark on the antenna

I’ve been doing this since I had my F150. It’s really useful and one of those set it and forget it type of deals. If I raise or lower the truck, swap tire size, or carry extra weight, the antenna mark will always be at the same point of reference. Your antenna will bang and clank on every pipe and overhead beam but you know your truck will never hit.
Obviously this only works with the ridiculously long stock antenna.

Yeah, my antenna is about 1" taller than rack so if my antenna hits I get concerned.

Geeze, even with factory 30.5" wheels and factory suspension, I tink the antenna over all obstructions in most parking garages.

Most parking garages have a sign on the entrance indicating maximum height. Just know your height and make sure its less before you enter.

I took another ride to Microcenter yesterday (picked up a keyboard and desk mat).
Now I'm lifted 3" and of course I forgot to measure overall height.
I pull into the garage again and my antenna smacks the sign and almost every support. I stopped and removed the antenna. I still had clearance but it was a lot closer.
    Measuring today.

It’s a Curt. I welded two additional 2” square channels on it for the snatches. Couple pics in my build thread.

I know something about smacking antennas.. 5' firestik and 62" MFJ. Only the MFJ has folding capability. I never liked the current folding adapters for the firestik and they rattle and cause interference. Inferior cb products...

I have the power antenna mount for my ham Radio and a cheap cb magmount that just tips over if I forget to lean it over by hand.

Ham Shown partially retracted and the CB is behind it.
High point on truck other than the CB is the high bar LEDs at 6’11 1/2”, So I clear anything over 7’
