Long travel and keep it as light as possible!

Really depends on what you plan to use it for though

Are you a mallcrawler or actually going to use the truck? Your two options are rather polarized

    Be honest with yourself.

No mall crawling over here. I’d like to go with Baja but I’m really liking the whole overlanding long overnight trips with the old lady. But I’ve been riding dirt bikes since I was 7 so making this SOB fly through the dunes seems pretty tempting but it seems like there would be a whole lot more chopping and screwing.

Depends on what your fab skills are like.. i would personally turbo your 4cylinder if it doesnt have a ton of miles on it. With forged internals, the 2TR is a prime candidate for some boost!

    What he said ^^
Buy a little high clearance camping trailer for your camping, tow that bitch to the dunes, unhook, and go nuts
