This every day, along with a foam roller and some little foam roller balls (don't know what they are called), has completely eliminated lower back pain from my life. I recommend it to anyone with back pain, but depending on medical condition it's good to consult doctor first to okay if you have a history of injuries or chronic issues.

Yea, the thing I was most worried about were long road trips. I obviously didn't have the chance to take the truck on an 8hr+ drive before buying it, but I seemed to fit in it reasonably well without hitting my knees or elbows anywhere. The seats seemed comfy enough, and the seating position was agreeable. I prefer my Camry, but the Tacoma is better than a Corolla for sure (terrible seats in those). I've done one trip to TN that is a 9.5hr drive each way, and I was more than happy to do it in the Tacoma. I've done a few shorter 3 hr trips as well, and those are a breeze.

I think this varies from person to person what their tolerances are. I was coming from a 98 Rav4 that was terrible for road trips, but I could force myself to do it (drove to FL once, and a 6hr trip to see my wife in another state was regular while I was in school still). Probably the thing that irked me the most about that thing was the lack of center console for an arm rest, or even an arm rest on the door ... that absolutely kills the comfort not having somewhere to put your arm. But hey, I made due, and it helped me to really appreciate the Tacoma when I got it! I just mention this to say that perhaps I have a little more tolerance for long trips than others, but I still think the Tacoma is plenty comfy. I have no complaints on road trips with it.

I find the side bolsters on the seat bottoms to be way to firm for my liking. I'm debating trading the truck because of it but can't find anything comparable for the same money. The Frontier and Colorado don't have great seats either.

I've had a '99, 12 and now the 2016. Ride comfort has increased considerably, better than my 2010 Venza. We have the Limited with the leather and my wife is finding the seats a bit stiff/hard though...hopefully she'll get used to them.

    Oh...and it's quiet!

I'm 5'11" 200 lbs. My TRDOR seats are very comfortable. The stock ride also beats all the "newer age" vehicles we've had including a Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Liberty, Subaru OB Imprezza, Toyota Corolla, Honda CRV, and Subaru Crosstrek. The seats, lower air pressure in tires, and looser suspension I think plays a big part in the ride comfort. I'm not saying it drives "comfy like a car". On the contrary, it's very much a truck, but somehow still smooth. All that being said, the truck could use some lower end torque, which certainly impacts the driving experience.

It rides like a truck because, well, it's a truck.

big upgrade from my 2013 Tacoma 4x4. The 2016 4x4 ride is smoother (SUV like), and a much quieter cabin ride! I can now have a normal conversation on my cell phone without having to yell over the road noise.

Traded my 2011 TRD OR for the same in a '16 model. Vastly better ride and ergonomics for me. Very quiet and solid feeling on the road. Power is great compared to the larger engine in the 2011

This is so true. Had one dealer tell me manual transmission Tacomas were sent over from Japan haha. I corrected him and he looked nervous and just changed the subject to another thing on the car he wanted to explain. The 16 does drive nice (when the motor isn't screaming lol).
