Greetings, For those who have ordered from them in the past ~12 months, what have your experiences been with RCI's overall quality?

I've had two different shipments from them in the past 5 months with quality and handling issues.

I'm trying to to figure out if I've just been unlucky and should give them a third try or if I should cut bait and use another Fab company such as C4, CBI or Victory 4X4 for my planned Bumper and skid purchases in the short future. I would normally have blacklisted a company by now, but I really like the selection and appearance of their products as well as there appears to be overwhelming support for RCI on this board, so I can't help but wonder if I'm just unlucky?

I bought their full skid set and sliders over the past 7 months. All good then and thus far.

Love my RCI skid plates. Have slide down onto rocks with the full weight of the truck. Skid plate ate it pretty well. Bent it probably 1/8" with no issues. The coating seems to be really good too. No issues with them flaking or chipping off. My only issue with them is on my 01 it doesn't cover the bottom corner of the radiator but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Are you during directly from RCI or through another website?

I separate shipping & handling issues from quality/control issues. Shit happens even if it's packaged amazingly. As for quality issues, I have none with any of my purchases from RCI. Running full RCI skids with the flat bottom. I've gone through 2 front aluminum skids where hits broke welds. All my fault.

I have had many different companies parts show up with some sort of damage like bent tabs, banged up corners. Even when the packing was acceptable. I expect it with heavy components. Here is a pic of the latest shipping hit, this was entirely covered in molded foam. I really can't complain. Besides, it took 2 hammer whacks to get it true. More than half the shit I buy is going to get banged up anyway, it's ok if t starts off a little fucked.
