Any way to incorporate more switches in the other sunglass holder as well?

I was waiting for this too, and finally gave up. Found this little guy and haven't looked back. Mounted it in the same sunglass holder. Except now it folds out of the way and no one would know! I'm only using four of the switches at the moment. Plenty of room to grow. It can also be controlled by Bluetooth, so hear a noise while camping and you can light up the night to see what it was!

Ahhhh yea I didn't look super close at that switch above, thought it was normal switches just lit up on the bottom lol.

Yup that's it. I've got more info in my build page. Mainly just where it mounted in the engine bay. So far love everything about this!

 

The integrated blue tooth is quite amazing I must say I haven't heard of that one yet

 

That looks really cool but to dish out 500.00+ for one. Is it worth it. I really don't know much about them.

 

Don't mean to thread Jack, but in the end yes I think it's worth it. If you did the over head console with switches and holder your looking at a minimum of 350$. Then the wiring and all that fun stuff. This thing streamlines all of it and adds Bluetooth capabilities along with programable buttons. Plus the company is awesome to deal with.

 

That is a good point. I have well up into 500+ into all my switches and wiring. And most of the switches and wire is for the upper console.

 

I want that one that folds down. Blue tooth. Who's setting that up. I will send what ever is needed. I want that.

 

Did you just use 3m tape to mount it or does it just fit in there? I got in contact with the company today and will be ordering one for myself by the end of the month. I don't use my sunglasses holder so this is likely the route I'll take.

 

Yeah 3m tape on both the switch and module. Works great.

 

I'm really looking in to doing this myself. Does anyone have a write up on how this was done Or, willing to help me out? Was it done with fiber glass and bondo?
