Just a follow up. Anytimebackupcamera does have the 24 pin harnesses without the RCAs available. $20 is what he charged me, which I think is more than reasonable.

Oh cool, thanks for the follow-up. So, I can just call them? Or send an email? I’m down for one. Thanks for doing the recon. I’m still stoked on the DSIM A pillar tap for driver’s side cubby switches too, that price was good as well.

I’ve since realized the LOE to install more switches in the overhead, and that I’m also stuck waiting on MESO for panels so it seems I have all the time in the world right now, may as well order up.

Also, I saw your other thread on your harness/fuse/relay plans. Wow! I love the look of the factory switches and your ambition. For me, I can see how dropping the $ for a switch-pros 9100 would simplify things.

I wish we had a complete replacement option for the overhead console like we do for the driver’s side cubby. I’m far more time constrained than money constrained these days and it’s so nice to be able to revert to stock for a sale. I’m even contemplating dropping the $150 for the factory 6 hole lower switch panel to save a little time on that one.

I just emailed them through their website. Ask for an ABC24 harness without the RCAs. Brian over there has been great answering all of my questions.

Thanks. A switch-pro would probably be a cheaper option if you place any value on your time. I just really wanted to keep the OEM look and the durability of the relays.

Got all my DSIM goodies. Now I just need to figure out which wires are right. If I’m guessing correctly reading that diagram it’s pins 3 and 12 which are brown and green in factory harness. Top picture is the male plug and bottom female? And pinout is looking at the plug from in front or behind?

These are the best pictures I could take. It’ll give me some confidence if the colors match up once I open the pillar.

bottom plug is larger (female) and top is smaller (male).

neg I marked as top row third from right side or 2nd if only counting the small wires.

pos I marked middle row and one to the left from the top. So four more small wires before it hits the big one.

I assume I’m reading the diagrams correctly but all the wires are black except for the ones the dome rock tapped into which have colors for their line.

Hi, I just wired up a gimmick switch based on your diagram. I t tapped into the pink (interior light +) for my green and red 2 lines. It appears that line is always on though. Do you know which wire would turn on/off with the truck? Thank you.

You want illumination for switch. light green is +, tan is pwm -. Use those, not the pink. Pink is dome which is always hot (as you noticed) and is turned on/off/dimmed via ground (dome neg trigger pwm -)

So connect my power the the light green and ground to the tan? I have my ground connected to the black white ground right now, is it fine to leave it connected to that? Thank you!

chassis ground is OK but pwm neg is better for switch illumination if you like your switch brightness to dim with the dimmer. Cause dimming is cool. So tan is preferable and worth redoing.

Light green is on with parking lights so precisely what you want to match the other switches. Test and confirm if you desire.

Switched to the cables you said. That's exactly what I wanted to do. Thank you very much!
