Anyone ever find a cheaper place to buy a new one than Amazon? Not sure it's worth $123 to replace this thing... Just doesn't bother me enough. And is that one truly OEM? I'm always skeptical when it states OEM on Amazon....

I used the thread in the sticky and soldered the 510 resistors and it’s been good since.

Thanks, I think I've soldered mine about 4 times - a surgeon's hands I do not have, so I'm sure I've mucked it up by now. Anyone know where I can get a replacement 510 resistor now that Radio Shack has gone to the great beyond?

It was worth the $125 to me, because it is $300+ at the stealership for essentially the same thing.

The resistor fell out when I took the board out and I was unable to find it. A local electronics store had a suitable barrel resistor for $.13. It was actually easier to solder back in place and I think it will work better.
