I tried doing a search and nothing comes up. Does anyone have the procedure for pulling down the overhead console? 2005 Off Road.
I just don't want to have any surprises or break any clips when using my trim tool.
If you know of a 12V hot spot, colors of the hot wire and ground that would be great!
I'm looking for 12V to tap into for my Radar Detector hanging below the RV mirror.
    Thanks

There is 1 phillips screw that needs to be removed from under the eyeglass storage compartment. There are 2 clips in the front of the overhead console. Remove the screw and pull the front straight down keeping the overhead console level with the ground/truck. 1 of the tabs that holds the clip broke on mine fully knowing how to remove it. The quantity of plastic that retains the clip is minimal at best.

I don't recall the wiring colors.
