I have a gray 2010 tacoma cab + & the overhead interior console is 1 piece having the lights in the middle with compartments for sunglasses and a garage door opener above and below the lights.

The tab on the garage opener compartment is attached to a piece that screws off from the main console. The tab broke off and I cannot find it on line nor from my local junk yard, and cannot find the part # anywhere. Will I have to obtain an entire console to replace the tab?

    Any suggestions?

Got any pics of the overhead console and the broken part?

I'm new at this ,so here goes. I uploaded 3 pics. 226 is the unscrewed part and the tab that broke off. 224 is the entire console and 225 is the way it currently looks.

That helps us visualize what you've got. The trick now is doing the parts lookup for your year, model and trim level; to find out if the swing down door is available separate from the console. I don't have that on my truck, so I'm not much help without more vehicle info. I saw a good parts lookup site, but don't remember which one. I think many dealers have on-line parts lookup. I'm sure it's only a dealer item.

If you run across that parts site, give me a shout. Thanks for your effort.

Try this one for starters. If it doesn't work well enough, just Google "Toyota parts online". Once you find the part, then you can search used locations and check with dealers for pricing and availability. Good luck!

Contact a dealership parts department. They should be able to look it up by VIN, and find it. I'm assuming the online parts look up is missing some trim feature that you have. It should cone up for the dealer using the VIN.

I have one of the mirror risers(cant remember by who) that raise up the mirror and then i have the Ram mount attached to that.. besides the chip that then cracked right there it works good, i use it for my phone when i need to run GPS or when we are recording a trip.
