I know there are the Overland Customs sliding links out there on the market, but I haven't seen much in terms of reviews and even if they provide any additional articulation.

Is anyone running these, and if so, how do you like them?

Unless someone knows of another option on the market currently.

Yes, I have my sway bar off the truck currently, but I honestly would rather daily it with it on, since a one-way evasive maneuver might turn out ok, but if I have to go one way and then another, the amount of sway is going to catch up to the truck...

Just reading the comments on Youtube makes me want to not get these...I'll keep hoping for another solution.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
If you’re on upgraded suspension ditch your sway bar.

Interesting that this guy defends how great and wonderful they are right after saying that he has to do weekly maintenance on them. If nuts are that prone to backing off, that's a piss poor choice in nut design.

My bigger beef however is that we didn't talk about reaching around a hot and/or muddy tire to reset a stubborn cotter pin. That does not sound like fun.

Here is my setup. I made a two piece sway bar from two separate bars. I ground the mating sides to fit flush and to get the same width as the stock bar. It takes me less than 3 minutes to remove the end piece. I got the idea from a post in an FJ forum. I don't understand why no manufacture has produced one for sale.

I love this idea, how did this work out for you, still going? I had no problem with my sway bar totally removed but I'm towing now and will be needing it so looking for another solution. I thought about installing the overland links once on location and removing them when leaving, that would be way easier than pulling the whole bar every time.

Purchased from original owner who special ordered. Factory Trd off road suspension, skids, and rear diff lock.
great idea I’m going to do this. Do you just pull the bolts and run it, or do the split pieces bind when disconnected?

also saw your previous response about going to Cleghorn, I go there all the time as well so it looks like we’re local!

These seem interesting, especially compared to the more intensive install of the APEX sway bar links, althogh the maintenance frequency is a bit concerning as well as reports of them getting hot and having issues during long highway trips? How have these been holding up over time for those of you who've installed them?
