I do. Like Jason said, how else will people know that I spent a bunch of money on a tent?

True, there is that. However, all the Tepui graphics were recently removed. :) But yeah I still sell them. Doesn't change the fact that I still daily drive it with the tent.

I daily drive mine with the tent on for the most part. I don't like taking it off sunday night/ monday morning just to put it back on thursday night and friday morning. During the summer we use it almost every weekend in some way or form. In the winter it is in the garage unless we are headed out on a trip.

If I had a RTT, I'd do what @DoorDing did and put a celing hoist in my garage so I can take it off when not in trip mode.

Utah doesn't have as many theft problems as some other areas but they are still present. If someone new what they were doing and had some help it would be easy to remove and steal. Someone without that knowledge and without friends to help would have a heck of a time getting mine off the rack on my shell. People have done things to lock the tent to the racks etc but I have never felt the need. My truck is either parked at my house where theft is low because of the constant traffic and close quarters in our community (townhomes) and at my work I can see the truck out the window all day. We have a private parking lot so random people coming in to steal stuff is pretty uncommon.

I have a small garage... When I get into a real house I will definitely go that route. One for the tent, and one for the canopy.

Yeah. I just read up on why that's a really bad idea.

Hard to believe! Had to do a double take.

    They aren't all that much.

I can even get you a discount. :)

I've never been worried about mine getting vandalized or stolen. There are ways to "lock" them down if you want. A few people have posted ideas on how to do that.

Parts for 'real' trucks cost more money. ;) Just be glad you aren't building a Land Cruiser. :)

Yes. Although I dont in the winter, and I probably would take it off and on more if I had an easy way of doing it. Using the beer bribe on buddies runs out after a while when you live so far from anyone.

Real men just call it camping
I used to leave mine on about 1/2 of the time when I used the Toyota as my DD. Now that it's not my DD, the tent stays on pretty much all the time. It stays in the garage though. If I parked outside, it would probably only be on the truck when needed.
