Haha I don't care about scrapes. Huge dents bother me.
I borrow my dads jeep to beat on with rocks. My truck is a camping rig. If it wasn't my daily, I wouldn't worry as much.

I honestly hope I scrap my front bumper on something so I have more of a reason to get a plate bumper.
Thanks. Can't wait to try some up there. Can I camp along the trail?

No one likes dents unless it's a dedicated trail rig. I dented my tailgate a long time ago and I'm taking the time to fix it because it's annoyed me that much for this long. That being said "risk of dents" doesn't keep me from trying most trails.

Yup I daily mine as well when I don't ride motorcycles. A few cut holes and using a sledgehammer I'm past the worrying about a dent. Sure I'll avoid scraping up on purpose but I'm not going to lose it if I get one.

I did. Broken bumper, cam tabs flattened, and a couple dents. Everything is fixed now with the exception of my doors being a little pushed in. :D

I'll have to get that location from you.
It's also brand new (to me) not ready to beat on it yet.

That's still impressive. I would think bending to be normal but damn you must have had a good hit.

I don't have an atlas and needed to pivot. Bumper ended up being used as my pivot point. Maybe not the best decision but live and learn.

At great place to camp is go up over Barker pass from the lake and camp in Barker meadow. Just a gravel road getting to it but lots of trails and areas to camp. Could probably even do the short cut trail to the look out. Haven't done the short cut in my truck but have done it many times on quads, and if I remember correctly it should be doable in fairly stock truck.

I told my wife I almost hit a deer and totaled the truck, and she gave me an enthusiastic thumbs up on a bumper. Just saying'...

I finally got my rack finished and everything mounted. I'm getting to put everything to use this weekend.
