How much to apply it? Are they getting in the area between the cab and the bed? Are you staying close to your original color or changing it drastically?

"You firstly open the roof-rack onto the props, then using a pole lift two sections together pivoting around the front pivots......then the final section, which is nearly "empty" is flipped over. Stand the back hoops up, then go to the front and pull the front hoops up.........brace it all, then climb in and go to sleep!"

definitely a process, but if you have a need to fit a family above your truck, it's not bad

I'm glad i'm not the only one left who prefers to hand draft on an engineering pad these days.

    It comes with being..an engineer.
That and I hate redoing work. Takes me at least twice as long to do it flying by the seat of my pants than to just spend a couple hours drawing it out.

My dad designs all his ranch gates on those pads. Im trying to hook him up with a CAD program for his tablet for "on the go" quick designs.

i was referring to hand drawing vs CAD, but you're definitely wright about the rework. I draft up everything i build beforehand, but i find that i'm much more creative and come up with better designs when i hand draft the first version of the design as opposed to doing so on a computer.

Ahh...well that's cause I'm old....and like you, hand drawing just helps me think through the design better.

I was luckynt get to be in the last class my highschool offered for hand drafting. I liked it.

Sometimes you end up fighting with the computer too much.

    But both aren't bad.
