There was a seller on ebay from Texas who was selling brand new ones for 45 bucks each. I thought awesome, that beats everybody else I was looking at by a huge margin. That was until I saw a 25 dollar shipping charge

1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
What would you guys put a price tag on this at?

Side lights, cargo lights, tool box light. Has a 6switch panel with USB ports and 12v accessories outlet. Marine deep cycle to run everything. Tacoma leaf springs with a add a leaf. Has shocks, axle tube is 2” square tube 1/4” wall with 3500lbs hubs (6lug)

Has load stability arms in the back for when camp is setup. Rear swing out door all led lights. Trailer is 100% custom built.

Rtt is a smittybilt xl and has one little spot on the door flap that got ripped when I opened it. The rain flu covers everything and have not had any issues with the tent at all.

Family is growing and this will no longer be able to suit our needs.

What do you guys think this should go for

My guess would be $5-6K but don't put to much belief in that. If there isn't a huge market for a trailer in your area you might have to wait longer to get your price. If you want it gone soon it could be less.

Well the EAF tax at least adds 25% to the overall asking price.

Not to mention the hardcore overlanding that trailer has seen at the local family campground

5-6 k seems about right. The inside of the cargo area is just open space right?

Yeah, that's basically what these were...

But that's why I bought multiple. The first can cost ~$20 to ship, the second can only raised ship cost by like 3 dollars, so I think I still came out ahead for brand new cans when you do the math.

Florida is pretty flat and sucks so it’s super hardcore flatlanding.

Used that site and the "ioverlander" app for 8 weeks across the country. Did me well. Read the descriptions, some will put you on a trail. That's where the fun is!!

The downside is even the places that sell them for cheaper tack on like $20 in shipping, so they are basically the same price anywhere.

That's probably the best way if you have the means. Seems shipping is always the kicker if you don't have a local hookup.

I looked at M1078s the other day. Gotta find a house first. I'm sure my apt complex would be THRILLED to have that beast taking up 5 spots all the time.

You can get those brand spank straight out of overhaul with fresh paint for under $10k.

For sure. The registering/making road legal is where the pain in the ass is apparently... I did A LOT of research yesterday, cuz I was bored at work. I used to work for OshKosh Defense too, so I might have a hookup there. But I'd still have nowhere to park it.

Plus 55 mph max and 5 MPG are always a plus... apparently there is a regear kit that can get them to 80ish.

Around here they just take them to the highway patrol station, the cops inspect it for horns, lights, blinkers, high/low beams, windshield wipers, brake lights. Then they give you a pice of paper saying it meets or exceeds Texas DOT standards and you go register it.
