    Yeah it was just finding the happy medium. My dogs are usually in the bed so finding enough room for them to get their heads out. But low enough to keep the tent around cab height . But now I'm also looking at picking up a runner next year. Fingers crossed so that will be a nice alternative to have aswell. Although that's not going to be a expo rig.

    I screwed up and waited, now the camping is sold out. Will be going with the boy on sat, returning sat night. Momma wasnt thrilled due to mothers day on sun. slvr taco with Habitat in the parking lot. haha

    Tailgate is no bueno for me. I have bent it before since I am a hefty guy. I need to do the tailgate reinforcement. My bro in law was like a monkey and got on top of the roof and onto the rtt to help close it.

    Oh, I might add that I have a 3" mattress topper in the rtt. I think I need to buy a 2" topper. It really is a pain in the ass to get the zipper closed with that extra 2" when the mattress is folded over when closing it.

    Seriously though, do you use the bungees to pull the walls in? Do they work decent? Tucking that crap in sucks. Once it's in, it's relatively easy to close, but sucks when higher.


    I'd buy a trailer and EAF it
