    My plan is to leave Thursday around 5 or 6 PM. Try to get as far as I can before it is too late. Then I'm thinking I get a really early start, take StoneLake Road into the expo and check it out. Anybody leaving from LA area late on Thursday?

    Oh and who has CBs and is planning on wheeling? I just modified a bottle opener to act as a CB radio antenna mount. Came out better than I thought.

    I'd stay away from any of them except MAYBE some of the higher end ones. their burners are terrible. we have gone through a couple and returned them.

    Camp chef stoves have 30,000 btu burners. I've cooked even in high winds and the flames never blew out. They also have many accessories to obtain for different cooking methods. I believe @JeepAndrew has one as well. You can ask his opinion.

    I camped with some friends who had those little fart burner stoves and they took forever to cook there food. I started cooking after they did and was eating before them. While i was eating they were using my stove.

    And most griddles are cast iron. Lot longer to get going on 10k btu. I use a cast iron skillet on mine and some dutch ovens without a problem.
