    What's everyone's camping plans?

I'm not paying for the entire weekend all exclusive package but I'm not opposed to paying for just the camping. Be cool tell get a giant Tacoma camp going!

It's more expensive for sure!I'd be interested in the off-site camping.

We camp off site and go on some local trail runs when we get bored.

I'd really like to try and make it this year. With how popular the overland stuff has been lately, I think it would be a lot of fun to check out products and get ideas from other peoples rigs.

Earlier I talked about a camp out I know the area around Mormon lake well, my brother is coming from Iowa to come to this we are going to make it a 5-6 day trip goto the expo for 1 day camp the rest. As for camp spot Thursday Friday sat for me will be right near Mormon lake goto the expo all day Friday then Saturday head to a new spot south of Munds park to a remote camp spot me an my bro found on my hunt last November we wanted to camp an explore more for the last of the days. So far that's my plan anyone is welcome to Tagg along, if not I will be in the TW camp Thursday Friday (once we find a location)

Other note: fuck camping at the "expo" it's like a city 5' to the right left is someone right next to you, if you don't have a rtt or sleeping besides a tent it will suck cause the ground is pot holy not level at all, an overpriced to camp no less to camp. when there is nothing but woods for miles an miles around Mormon lake. For me making the trek out there to be so close a feel crowded to camp isn't worth it to me, for some maybe it is. But I perfer not to camp like its a mall parking lot on Black Friday

There's PLENTY of places very close that are large enough to house a big group camping spot. 2 issues to deal with though.

1-the obvious massive amounts of people all looking for the same camping spot

2-the travel management rules for the Coconino Naional Forest require camping to be done in designated areas. This eliminates many good spots and dither packs the peeps together.

Here's a screens hot of the weekend pass fees with and without camping.

^^^ wow @ those prices! Insane. I'll probably avoid camping at the event, not a fan of being surrounded by large crowds.

$155 bucks for my lady and I. LOL. Didn't know it was going to be THAT much.

Rather put that money towards gas and have my own adventure...
