    My dad wants to camp on site so I'll be there. Don't want to tear down, especially with the annex set up and everything. My dad is sleeping in my truck so all our stuff will have to be unpacked.

    That's why I decided to camp at the expo to start with. If I get burnt out on it, I can always relocate to the TW group and finish out the trip on my own terms. Once I've spent Friday seeing all of the vendors and watching some demos, I'll probably be tired of the crowds.

    I'm making 5# of jerky right now, and my camp menu will be a varied collection of a bit of everything. I've been dabbling with some new recipes of instant backpacking meals that I'll be living off to see how they treat me. Also, easy breakfasts like eggs/lil smokies/pancakes/oatmeal. Considering making some taco mix and bringing the trimmings for one of the nights. I hate messy camp meals because I never want to clean up once I'm done eating.

    Im out for one night so i don't mind throwing down a good meal. After Rug Road in November I dished out the green chili beef I made in the crockpot the night before. Turned out amazing after sitting wrapped up in tupperware all day in my cooler. 20 min in the Dutch oven and a pile of tortillas with sour cream and cheese... Fuck it was gooooooooood!
