Is the front runner you have on the cab specific for the 2015 models or the '16? I ask because they have both on their website and the '16 is sold out.

Few more pictures from the weekend. I'll post a review on the setup later.

Maybe Toyota can add a few more lights to the dash panel for the 18's...

@ctfriel your build looks great. I have a request. Could you take a pic of the inside of front wheel well where the ARB bumper meets up with the fender?

I am curious to see what that looks like. I am contemplating on getting the ARB bull bar once I get back to the mainland.

How much weight is the ARE Z series rated for? I can't seem to find any actually numbers.

Curious where it's the same~ish 150lbs my Leer 100XR is rated for. If it is around there, did you (or are you planning to) do any reinforcements to handle the RTT+ people weight? I know my canopy's rating is for dynamic weight and it can handle more when stationary, but how much more and for how long...

I'm guessing to easily carry over the canopy from his Limited? And to have a shorter wheel base off road? Maybe.

It's an overland rig. I don't know why so many people buy short beds for overlanding

They make a factory bracing that goes inside to up the rating to 500lbs.

No idea on weight capacity. It should be able to hold well over 150#. The 150# comes from a load traveling down the highway. No reinforcements planned. It did shift about 1/8" over the weekend through some major flexy terrain and washboard forest roads at 35-40mph. I'm going to add 2 more clamps to it to keep that under control. Your canopy isn't going to collapse with you in it camping.

I'm only 4'-11". No really. I don't plan to sleep in the bed. I have a fridge and totes back there. It was readily available, I could swap my canopy, the extra foot would get eaten up on trails around us, it's hard enough to turn a short bed around on our trails, the list goes on and on... Each have their benefit. I like the short bed for the best coast I mean East Coast... J/k.

Skids and sliders are planned in the near future. Within a month or so... Trying to decide ona vendor.

Let me know what clamps you go with. My own canopy recently shifted while off-roading and I wouldn't mind adding a few more clamps.

Thanks man. It looks solid. Are you happy with how it matches up after cutting the front bumper and wheel well etc.?
