Hey guys my wife and I are looking to do and off the grid camping trip for MDW. We live in Long Island and have been out west a few times including a 5 day off the grid adventure in big bend. Since we only have the long weekend I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to go on the northeast that might resemble the emptiness of being out west. Don’t need any facilities or accommodations just want a place to get away for a few days and disconnect. Any help would be much appreciated!

Plenty of remote places to camp in the Adirondack park. Stay away from the popular towns/high peaks. Northern NH also has a ton of places to explore (Colebrook/Pittsburgh).
