Stupid amount of extra heavy metal all over
Hmmmm, wonder if these would be a good idea, could still be mostly flush on the inside if the threaded barrel portion was hidden inside the frame tubing with only the 3/64 face exposed

That's exactly what I was thinking of. Thanks for the link. I'm only going to do one row. PS will be hidden by the cabinets and I may use some of the bolts to stabilize them. The lower DS will be behind the bench. Just the upper PS will be exposed.

Thanks! I'm not very active outside the NorCal thread. Been eying those fire extinguisher mounts for a while though. Nice work!

I hear ya. I'm not on too much anymore myself. Just too busy working or preoccupied with adventuring!

Appreciate it. One of these days I'll get some more done hopefully. I'll be keeping an eye on this build in the meantime! Great work!

This is my 2,500th post. Thought I'd put it here.

This is a pretty lame post.

    Water System

Worked on the water system this week. Kept it semi modular. Not sure if I'm going to panel mount the quick release connector or just mount that box in a cabinet. The Bluesea waterproof switch & cover, pump, and valved quick release fittings are from the old Flippac build. I did get a smaller sediment filter. The 2 project boxes have been sitting in my garage for one year. Can't even remember what I got them for...

    IMG_9042.jpg IMG_9043.jpg

The pump input and filter output have a 1" difference in height from the bottom of the case. Too small for elbow fittings, but enough so the filter had to sit crooked in the case. Kinda bothers me. At least I can throw this cover on and make it go away.

    IMG_9044.jpg

    IMG_9045.jpg

    Leak resistant.

    The input side:

Drilled out the inside lip of a 1/2 x 3/4" male adapter so the pipe pushed all the way through. Then did a hack solder job.

    IMG_9016.jpg

Made 2 stems. Brass check valve at the bottom. Some old parts, some new parts.

    IMG_9015.jpg

    IMG_9014.jpg

I'll install it tomorrow and try it out this weekend.

Because the camper interior siding isn't installed, I can't really mount this stuff to it. The only things that really needs to be connected to the vehicle are 2 wires though.

Edit: Some quick-release valved 1/4" fittings are on the way. These containers don't have air vents. I'll run one vent tube along the interior wall and zip tie the tubing to the water tube. Switching water and air tubes between containers should take 10 seconds or less.

Nothing compared to some of you guys, but I'm at over 250 likes on my last IG post. That was the real goal of this build. I'm probably just going to quit while I'm ahead ;)

Installed the little valved air intake fittings on 2 of the water containers. Filled it up and left it on its side for 10 minutes with no leaks. They are basically only there to keep the water from splashing out, so it works fine. Ran a 1/4 vinyl tube up the interior of the camper temporarily. Unless my truck flops, it shouldn't leak.
