    Hello Forum,
I purchased a set of 2/1 leafs off of a 2012 TRD with less than 10,000 miles from SteveoATC (THANKS!) to replace the 2/1 leafs on my '08 DCSB Prerunner. Mine are in bad shape but the Hellwig EZ990 model 981 (it's an AAL with ubolts for height adjustment) that I have on them are only a few months old. I ordered Wheelers 3 leaf AAL's which are on their way also.

I've read that if you leave the Overload leaf on when installing the AAL it will give you a 2" lift. I want to keep my Overload leaf on because I carry about 600lbs once a week in my truck but I only want 1.5"'s of lift. So my 2 questions are:

Can I take off one of the leaves from the 3 leaf AAL when I install them on my newly purchased OEM 2/1 leafs?

    or,

Is it better if I take off the Overload leaf from my old 2/1 pack and add it to the 2/1 pack that I bought from SteveoATC AND use my Hellwig AAL? Basically, the OEM 2/1 with an extra overload leaf & the Hellwig.

I have Billies set at .85 in the front and I do want a noticeable, not exagerated, rake.

    Thanks :)
