This guy wants 13k for a non 4X4 with 167k miles. Blue book says $7,500 but I have never seen a 01-04 Tacoma Access/Double Cab that doesn't have a salvage title be that cheap. So is this guys price a little to high? Personally, its really hard to pay that much for that high of mileage. What do you guys think?

Thats what I figured. Thanks guys. I like how he says "no low ballers" even though he's asking way to much.

Forget those ads. How about yours? Haha. You have probably the best looking Tacoma I've ever seen.

Keep looking. I got mine for 15k with 47,000 miles. And its a TRD 4x4. It took me about 4 months to find the exact truck I wanted. Just don't be afraid to walk away.

Overpriced, and possibly not TRD, I couldn't see a sticker, course he may have just taken it off cause it was too flashy.

Related note, got my 4x4 V6 xtracab 132k miles for 7000 4 months ago. I think I got a REALLY good deal though, I wouldn't pay more than 10k for the one in your OP.

Thanks. I appreciate the compliment. I have about 227k miles and it's still going strong, no leaks whatsoever. They're great little trucks and you will get your money's worth when you find the right one. Good luck.

I think I'd have a hard time selling mine on the mainland for 13k, even with 60,000 miles...

Do a 100 mile radius search at traderonline using the same parameters as the truck you want to buy. Then average the prices. You should not pay more than the average. If possible, use the average as a starting point and try your best to haggle down.

Yeah, that's a little steep. Now if it were for sale here, it'd probably be listed for that or more though.

Compare it to other ones in your area to see what they're going for to get a ball park figure.

    Every area is different.

Id say a bit steep. I'm new here but I just picked up a 2002 Prerunner TRD crew cab with lockers and stuff in like new condition with 150,000 km on it from a Toyota Dealership certified, $12,100 canadian.

I say keep looking :) It took me over a month to find this one but when you find that deal, it will be worth it!
