Are Tacomas sold in other countries besides USA, Canada, etc...? Are these Tacomas the same truck that we are familiar with here?

At first I thought a HiLux was just an oversea's name for the Tacoma. I now understand that the HiLux uses the older Toyota truck frame with a newer style Tacoma body.... Interesting.
