I have the catless tubes with stock exhaust and no codes since the proper tune was tweaked. 4000+ miles.
I had a MBRP 3" catback but decided to go back to stock for the time being. I do miss the sound but performance is more or less the same.

With the stock exhaust you can hear the dump tubes on acceleration but aside from that they are not audibly noticed. I'll see about recording in the near future.

I'll second this, no codes, not really noticable unless you're getting on it, and then its not just the noise that's noticable.

Did you score them off a Tacomaworld member? The quality on these is top notch.

I commented earlier that I thought I had an exhaust leak with them. Got my truck professionally looked at and there is no leak whatsoever.

The "buzzing" is purely how this 3.5 liter engine sounds, the valves produce the noise.

    Best of luck with them!

No he put on the automatic @OVTune page that he had 3 sets left and I scored a set. Looks like most who have issues have a urd y pipe. I only have MBRP.

Got my catless dumps today thanks ovtune. Anyone know what size bolts to get from the dump tube to my stock exhaust? Looks like the bolts will stay with the stock manifolds when I remove them. Any help is appreciated!

I got my dump tubes installed on Tuesday and even over a couple of days driving my mpgs are up a little bit. It is definitely louder and drones from 3k to 4k rpms, then it sounds great. The sound below 3k is almost the same as before. Keep in mind that i have a full exhaust from DirtyDeeds so your results may vary.

The quality of the dump tubes is flawless and I painted mine flat black to help with corrosion.

Running catless tune with catted dump tubes as I dont have the secondary cats and it throws a CEL on a catted tune for some reason. Once 2.0 is released for 04A61 I will try the catted tune to see if it doesnt throw a CEL.

Go them installed yesterday after the test drive I noticed a small leak. Took care of it this morning sound good so far haven’t put too many miles on yet. I like the start it’s a little louder. Plan
To take a drive later. So for intake I have the snorkel then HPS intake tube.

Where the dump tubes connect to the secondary cats on the passenger side it was an easy fix

Just bought a set of catted dumps for my truck. (see above) Going to run it with the TRD exhaust and the 2.0 catted dump tune. Will let everyone know how it goes. After reading about install I might just have my local muffler shop do it, he would make quick work out of it. Unless I can be convinced otherwise, haha

remove the front tires and work thru the wheel wells. The drivers drivers side is a bit more difficult, but not near enough to pay someone else to do it.

Absolutely. Take your time and it's really a piece of cake. And you get that self-satisfaction!
Use PB Blaster or some other bolt loosener on all the bolts.

Got my catted dump tubes on yesterday. It feels great at higher rpm's, but kind of lugs in the lower rpm's. A gearing problem more than the tubes. Excited to see how these are going to feel when I get my 5.29 gears installed. I think I will just run it with the 4.88 catted dump tube tune. That should be close enough
