If they were catted I'd be interested. Have emission testing here so Catted is my only option - other than leave them as is.

Borla catted y-pipes? Any specs on those? If Borla plans on making a whole system I would be very interested. Borla has the best sound IMO.

Also sitting on some catted dump tubes and will install (to stock exhaust) when I have time. Will post vids too. Don't hold your breath tho.

they are not making a full catted y pipe. They are making a y pipe reroute kit that reuses your stock cats and just reroutes the pipe behind the transfer case.

Also, I really wish someone with a fully stock setup would install the catted dump tubes and tell me if they are pulling codes like me.

^^^ This. The only option I have and it won't be if CEL happens. FGS! There as to be someone who has them and installed them. Sure seems like they went like hotcakes when Mat put them up for sale.

I almost suspect a few are waiting for the tune files before installing. No dump tube files have been released for the M/T as of yet or for dongle users...

Mat says you don’t need a tune to run the catted dump tubes. He “says” they won’t pull any codes.
I’m trying to confirm this cause I have freakin codes! Haha

think the y-pipe oem downstream cat delete is the poison. Maybe pull the URD and put oem back in for a test. Should confirm what the culprit is.

I’m about to do that, but it doesn’t make sense that something after the 2nd o2 sensor would be causing it as the 2nd o2 sensor is before the 2nd cat haha

I had the URD cat delete Y pipe installed before I installed the catless tubes and didn't have any CEL. Installed the tubes and light came on as I expected...

agree. sure seems like the MT and dongle users have been on the "wait" list for a longer than usual period of time.

Same, my y pipe never caused codes until I put on the dump tubes...and mine are catted not catless. I’m literally clueless at this point.

All this makes me wonder if I am reading the local news paper political section. Makes me dizzy. I'd be pissed too. 1+1=3

Have you made sure the 02 sensors are properly seated within the bung? I also thought i read Matt stating that the truck would need the dump tune for it to run efficiently, running the tubes without the specified tune would actually make it lose power? I could be wrong tho....

O2 sensors are in right. I can tell you the truck deff didn’t loose power. Actually drives better with them, can tell there is a little more response and get up in the low rpms.

Have you sent a ticket into zen desk. I don't think Matt said the catted wouldn't throw codes, the only thing I remember him saying was that his pro wasn't having any issues with the tubes. I do know that Toyotas seem to be very sensitive when it comes to emissions crap. My 2nd gen would throw codes when I tried to use high quality non oem o2 sensors.

Yes he is trying to help me as much as he can and I’m very grateful. Flashing the catted tune now to see if it helps with the codes.

I went back and looked at Matts post about the catted tubes, and he does actually say that you should not be getting codes with the catted version. It was in the auto thread on oct 2nd. I wonder if having the exhaust wide open after the tubes is causing the problem. Maybe its flowing to fast with no back pressure and giving a bad reading at the second 02 sensor. Even a small leak could throw the whole thing off.
Please let us know how you make out. Im actually waiting on installing mine till this is resolved.
