Amen! It took me 600miles on 1.05 to really see the difference, love the 2.0 4.88 19800 91 decatted tune. The truck runs beautifully now.

I will say your pieces are WAAAY higher quality than these other companies.

I’ll just run the catless tune until final 2.0 comes out and do a custom tune. Sorry for the hassle. I’ll just enjoy it cause it is way better than stock :)

I have, for sure. Its louder this way, but the drone is actually slightly less IMO. I also like how if my foot is off the throttle with the resonators its virtually silent where the muffler always had a rumble to it regardless of pedal input. Its like my right foot completely controls the sound now, lean in and it gets loud, but let off and its just coasting. i also love how you get more cracks and pops from the resonators being deleted.

Being a manual transmission you/we can control engine rpm and load better than the A/T guys. That makes the drone ect. more tolerable/non existent :)

Let me know how it all turns out. Ill be very curious to see what happens because ive experienced my best mileage in a while (still not saying much but hey) with my current setup sans muffler. I was under the impression that more flow is good flow I guess and resonators are definitely better for flow than that big fat restrictive magnaflow was. If I DID lose any midrange I dont notice it because I gained it back up top and ive always been a fan of wringing this motor out because she seems to enjoy the abuse :notsure:

Sure, M/T gives you the choice, but having to drive at 3000+ RPM on the highway just to avoid drone when I could be driving at 2000 RPM with adequate power and better MPG is frustrating as heck.

I don't mind it in my truck w/32 E plys, 2800-3k in 5th is right at 75-80 mph. It also gives me my best mpg and stays near the power band for passing without having to downshift YMMV :notsure:

There also was that other guy who made a thread talking about how he keeps his truck over 4k rpm for 20 mins on the highway once a week and he was talking about how it helps the motor run smoother. I can neither confirm nor deny the validity of said claims, but it doesnt seem to be hurting the truck at least and we know it was tested to stratospheric rpms for a truck (8500+ rpm). That could be another benefit of relatively high rpm cruising

It won't hurt the engine but you won't get good mpg at 4k rpm.

Yeah I figured, he was saying he does it simply as a way to get the motor to operate smoother. Like I said before, I have no idea whether that's legit or not but that's what he said

that is indeed a strange claim to make, but i do run mine at 3k rpm for about 45-60 minutes at least once or twice a week. the thing just loves it there and runs like a charm. and it's super smooth when I'm not at 3k but i don't think that's from running at 3k for an hour. that's from Mat Wilson.
