Did you just apply the gear 1 settings or did you apply them to 1 through 6?

I've never tried anything with the stock file. Only used for comparisons actually

I applied 1-6 and reverse. Leaving 2-6 out you could feel the switch and the almost feel the confusion of the computer

That doesn't apply to the 2.0 tunes since @OVTune mapped everything to PTTT1G.

Can't input on what the 2.0 settings do yet. But changing the reverse map made a big difference from factory

I might try applying some of the changes to reverse as well. I don't mind how tall it is but then I can't say I have towed or plan to in the near future. I can imagine what everyone says about it in that instance is true.

I just like how I can get in and out of car park stalls without using the accelerator at all, minor inclines included. That aside, I do wonder if reverse can be toned down some with vF to accomplish similar results to the 4Lo mod I've read about

    Canada Eh!
Another fairly basic question for you folks that have been tweaking tunes... I just got 2.0 from Mat for 04B90 (2020), but I havent really noticed anyone edit 04B90 specifically in VF. Can the same changes shown in this thread for other ECU types be applied to all ECU's with similar results?

I would say yes, emphasizing your use of 'similar.' I applied many of the tweaks the guys did on my stock 2021 and noticed a difference immediately. I can only imagine these tweaks on top of Mat's tune files (I will find out one day, whenever he gets around to compiling the pack for 04C30)

For the 3D and 4D maps, compare your starting values to what is shown. If they match up, then the edits are good to go.

If you guys could, open those maps and post a screen shot of the values.

Would be interesting to see what toyota did with those values in the newer models.

I only have 04B14 unlocked. I'm happy to post up others if differences are found.

Which maps exactly? I'll be happy to screencap from the stock 04C30 and post for you to see

This is OVT 2.0SFOB 91 for 04B90. Looks like Mats version of this map is identical

Yep we don't modify those tables on the tune pack tunes.

But we do recommend modifying them if you have vF Tuner and want to customize.
