Hey, does anyone have the OVTune in their 3rd Gen 6MT OR? I’d love to check it out and hear some reviews before I pull the trigger. Beers on me for letting me check it out.

I have the older dongle kit and played around with 1.5 Performance and Base at 87 octane. I see 2.0 Manual dropped on March 7th which is a huge improvement. I fired up the laptop and updated the flashing software to see 2.0 show up. 2.0 Auto should be dropping also soon. I am in Newcastle/Bellevue area if you want to chat about it.

    No worries!

Yes. The new 2.0 tune is the shit and you will most likely get an MPG bump to go along with it. So, it will eventually pay for itself.

Lemme emphasize though. This 2.0 tune is amazing.

@tonered is spot on! The 2.0 is going to be worth it. And it will focus also on tuning for 4.88 & 5.29 gears.

Here is the latest Manual post - https://www.ovtuned.com/blogs/news/...0-manual-transmission-2020-model-year-support

Auto is dropping soon - Here are some of the BETA 2.0 files - https://www.ovtuned.com/pages/2-0-public

    It could be, depending.

That said, each hour that goes on and the virus numbers keep making jumps, I might have to delay any offers for a while.

Whenever the beer flu is off, I'd love to trade you a 6-pack for a drive. I want to see if the juice is worth the squeeze.

Let's see what happens once this craziness calms down. It sounds like we're getting ground tonight.

I've been holding off for a while with OVtune...any auto users with 2.0 here? Worth it?

I am running the beta 2.0 Perf 91 (build 19800) decatted tune with catted dump tubes and really like the truck. Not your average OVTune setup tho. If you like your Tacoma in many ways except for the drive then, this is the way. The new changes announced should be considered(actually read through) cause it unlocks so much customization without affecting the 2.0 final release for those who have been in the soon trenches for eons (as I see it anyway).

Thanks! Did you notice a good jump in low end torque? His dyno shows a huge bottom end gain, which seems worth it if someone can verify that's legit.

    Yes. Sounds better IMO too.

Edit: For MT the full otto cycle down low (FOB flavor I believe) is dope apparently.
