With my Audi I was able to change programming to allow LEDs and avoid the hyper flash. Im pretty sure the Taco uses the ECU to fast flash when it thinks a bulb is out. I had some Diode Dynamics LED brake lights and tossed them in the Taco. It works as normal but after a few minutes it will hyper flash. I'm going to get the OVtune anyway just curious if someone has figured out if we can lower the resistance setting for bulbs in the ECU. I refuse to run resistors as it defeats the purpose of the LED.

    Not that I know of....

How does a resistor defeat the purpose of an LED? They are still way brighter than stock bulbs.

Sure I like the longevity, brightness and low current draw of the LEDs. Adding a resistor wastes power as heat and Ive had more resistors fail than in incandescent bulbs. Ill just leave the rear alone
