OVTune, help me understand

I've been away from the forum for quite some time. When I left there was OVtune that I was interested in, but never pursued. My interest has returned, but now I'm seeing VFtuner. What's the difference?

What I'm looking for:
I have an auto 2017 TRDOR, and I run 87 octane. I simply want to tune it so that it shifts better. Not looking to do any fancy original tunings or calibrations myself, just want to use the out of the box tune. What's the name of the product I'm looking for?

 

I'd recommend reading this guy's thread. He talks through using VFTuner as a beginner (which we all are). You don't need to custom tune anything if you don't want to though. Just get the cable, VF software, and the Tacoma tune pack. Then you can flash your truck with the pre-made tunes.

All of it together costs about the same as the original OVTune, but you can personalize your tune sometime down the road if you so desire.
