So I have installed the OVtune for my 04C01 ECU and cannot say I am happy with it, honestly I have so many issues with it and would really like to get a better tune and really feel the difference...I heard of @PapaRee and would like to know how to contact him please..thank you all!

Well, as someone who came from OV tune 2.0 with some edits for us MT guys, and then getting KDmax... I can say kdmax is better in every way so far....

I've been on the OVTune since the first betas and am wondering the same thing. The 2.0 psuedo final has been out for a good amount of time and I don't know if it will ever be finalized. Hmmm....

I am coming from OVtune 2.0 with MT edits. kdmax is better in every way.
I think I saw Matt say there in a new OV tune release coming out... Curious about that if/when it does.

At this point in time the KDMax is most definitely the choice. Definitely grateful to Mat for creating the foundation from which all these "custom" tunes came from, but currently, yes indeed the KDMax is superior to any OVTune I have used.

Good to hear. I feel that Mat really doesn't care anymore since he is so involved with his hardware kits. Meh, for $300 I may switch over and check it out.

@TWTaco @PapaRee help this man out. He has the 2.0 file from Mat already. I talked to him on FB earlier. He can send you the file he got from Mat since it’s a Mexico ECU ID

Went from stock to KDMax 6.0. Makes this a real Toyota. A real drivable truck.

Can you expand on that? I have OV on my stock MT. While it’s a lot faster in 1st and 2nd, the power band is not at all smooth. In fact I think it may have been smoother with factory settings.. and the whole reason I got the tune is because the factory settings SUCK.

Does anyone know how to find if there is someone in my area to install kdmax on my 2021 taco, I'm a new toyota owner and coming from a different brand that had a plethora of tune options I was surprised that toyota is limited to a few, I guess if it ain't broke but I would like a little better throttle response and transmission to smooth out. I'm in north west arkansas and this is a whole new world to me.

@OVTune is chasing money in other ventures. The base tune is trash and performance is never coming. @PapaRee kdmax all the way.
