No worries - I am sorry you are having issue. I would have dealer check CPS sensor. I am surprised the dealer has not been helpful or that the truck is not throwing codes. Maybe set up a dash camera facing the instrument cluster so that it catches the stall and then show it to the dealer. They should be able to track down the problem.

Not to be rude but could you make your on thread about the topic rather than adding it to a thread about the OVTune. At first I was concerned that the OVTune had a major flaw that caused your issues.

I've got a question. What'r the relative merits of options ABC? I read what they technically do, and I dug through a good 50 pages of the original OVtune thread (but come on, that thread is 10% OVtune and 90% BBQ photos) and I searched the OVtune website, but I can't find the answer. Why wouldn't you want all the gears tuned?

A - all gears, 1st is pretty aggressive for my tastes on my stock truck. Ran it for awhile and it was great but I found myself wanting it a little smoother off the line. Ideal for those who want a more aggressive 1st and/or if you have larger / heavier tires as I’ve heard folks say this tune makes them feel like they aren’t moving the extra weight / size off the line.
B - keeps the aggressive lower gears but maintains the efficiency of 5/6, ideal for folks who do a lot of cruising and are more fuel conscious is my guess but I haven’t tried this one yet
C- very smooth off the line with a nice transition to a bit more aggressive (but still smooth) 2-5 gears. I simple found this one to be a bit smoother than A personally but then again I am stock.

If you don't have boost than its fine. You can run super lean and lots of timing on an n/a. I would not be worried.

So with 33s is C not enough to get the truck going? I'm running A now and my mpg is suffering pretty bad. These Coopers are heavy as shit and I find myself is 4th a little too often. Considering switching to B.

Interesting - I'm stock tires / wheels, but I had much better MPG w/ A vs. shift C. How many miles you have on this version now?

I'm still getting 30mpg on a run with stock tires and 'C'. It may be 1-2mpg down average but very much enjoying.

Yeah, seems I've seen a lot of folks who live in flatter areas reporting good things about MPGs. For me, I see a decrease w/ C that hasn't quite come back up. how many miles you have on C? ...assume 91 Octane tune right?

93octane, probably close to 1300 miles now.

Anyone got, say, over 2,000 miles on the C versions now and care to comment for others on how, if any, the tune has changed over time with learning and whatnot as it relates to shift points and the intake/exhaust modifications?
