    Yeah, I will say I also seemed to experience some intake/exhaust “learning” on 1.02c as well so it seems there were some changes occurring over time for me in that department.

    Right - and Mat has said many times he's taking care to maintain basic safety parameters and the fuel/temp stuff would fall squarely in that bucket I'd think ;)

    I believe misfire counts can result in intake/exhaust valve timing changes via learned values. May explain why some of us are seeing no real changes with our tunes over time while others aren't as fortunate.

    Highly possible - damn ignition logic seems to prevail for some of us. You use a scan tool or phone app, I believe? Do you track misfire counts? My understanding is that most if not all of our trucks are misfiring (although rarely detectible) more than they should. On any normal drive I'll get at least 3-4 misfires on random cylinders and if I'm really ON IT in the mountains in ECT or something its quite a bit more than that oftentimes. No doubt this behavior causes the truck to attempt to adjust over time (although the misfires never really cease)...

    @OVTune Thanks for the continual update and enhancements to what is already a great tune. For 1.03, can you add an Option D? Gear 1-2 upshift stock, gear 2-6 upshift changed?

    I loved the shifting behavior of Option A, except the aggressive gear 1-2 upshift. I am currently on Option C, gear 1-2 is great, but truck seems too eager to shift to gear 5 and 6, and it doesn't seem to hold 6th as well as option A on the highway.

    @OVTune : This may be a little off-topic, but seeing as you're the resident expert in tuning our trucks I thought I'd ask: I'm driving a 2017 auto-trans 3.5. Is there anything that can be done for the cold engine fuel usage? I'm not an engineer, and I don't have specifics for 3rd gen trucks (any scan guages out there that can enlighten me?) but the truck seems to absolutely chug fuel when cold. Most dramatically at idle. Most of my driving is short-hop, so the engine is 'cold' for like half the trip and my fuel economy is typically like 10mpg (driving like an absolute grandpa). I'm sure there is good reason to have increased fuel consumption in the cold engine, but these settings seem dramatic.

    One, is this a setting that can be adjusted with an ECU tune? and Two, in you expert opinion, can cold engine economy be improved safely?

    Actually, while I'm at it, can the idle fuel consumption be improved across the board? Most interested in cold engine though
