How long did you wait for your hardware? Placed order Wednesday, no communication from them. Finally emailed them and they said they would send out as soon as possible…whatever that means. Their site showed plenty of stock…what gives?

    never mind it shipped.

It wasn't a Tacoma, but around 5 years ago I got a tune package for my Mazda and it took about a week for them to send the obd reader and cable, another week and a half for him to get me the software key for the program needed to install the tune, and then another week for him to send me my first tune file. The guy is extremely bad at communication and took me almost a month just to install the first tune. Took about two weeks after to get the final tune file.

Also, if anyone knows, if I already have the obd plug thingy from my Mazda tune, can I reuse that same reader for a Tacoma tune? Looking on the website for the first time in many years, everything's different and the Tacoma tune pack I see is the 3.5L vF Tune Pack that's $300. Is that the one I get if I were to tune with OV?

vF Tuner requires their tactrix cable, no others.
You don't need a tune pack, as you will have access to your stock file for free, but the tune pack does come with a few other edits, some of which are not accessible for us (assembly edits for example).
