Ovtune - what happened?

I was super active on here a year or two ago. Heard everybody sing Ovtune praises forever so I went ahead and bought it a few months back.

I started having issues with it so I started snooping around. Apparently there's KDMax and people are saying it's way better? And the OVTune account is banned or deleted?

What the hell happened?

 

Shit went down in the "what have you done to your 3rd gen" thread. Things were said. Asses were hurt. Drama ensued. Bans happened.

 

There is Valley tunning too. The best thing that happened to my Taco.

 

What issues are you having with the OV?

 

Following as I am (was?) thinking of doing an OVTUNE my self personally.

OVT was near expert level tuning and fab.
He was stretched too thin from inquiries/questions from the bottom floor easy level.
And stretched even thinner providing tech support for this TT kit and etc.......and then the bottom fell out.

OVT can be found at their own forum/channel now.

I still use his handheld tuner and its worked perfect for me.

 

Because the majority of the people on this forum are loud entitled ass hats who think their opinions matter more than they do

 

The 2.0 ultimate is what should be available soon, can’t wait.

Try spending any amount of time in the TW or other Tacoma groups on Facebook

 

It's been explained several times already. I'm done explaining it.

 

OVT set up his own forum to better manage all questions. By removing him from TW, it gets rid of all the drama queens that suck up any worthwhile discussion.
I too purchased OVT software a few months ago and just installed KDMax tune a few weeks ago myself. Well worth it.

 

I’ve been out of the loop for so long, I don’t even know if the other tuners use a modified VFTune base map or not

 

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what’s happening.

 

Somebody provide the link to the drama that happened. Just hearing about it now, wanna get my Sunday drama in.
