Ovtune Wilmington NC or surrounding area

Looking to get my truck tuned in the Wilmington, NC area. I will travel a hour or two. Want an OVTune. 1.5 or 2.0 Please and thanks!

Do we have to pay for said tune or how does this work? I’m in central Va and would also like an OVTune

 

I have a link in my signature with my personal details on cost. Meet ups might impact things but a little travel is reasonable for me.

 

The going price is like 250. More for traveling. It’s a one time tune. Unless of course the Tacoma world ppl are fucking awesome and it’s just the cost of the “ Credits“ from ovtune. If I’m speaking correctly.

 

I offer and additional update for that cost as well. Needing to buy credits is based on the ecu calibration of the truck being tuned ... We have to buy those up front of we haven't already. What you are also buying is some community and personal updates. Not just a base tune (which is still better than stock)

Ah no. The credits needed are a 1-time unlock per ecu release from the OEM. No one else pays for anything but the tuning service. It just cost me more to unlock an specific ecu variant if I have not already unlocked it.

Edit: so if tuning the same ecu as my truck is a less cost to me as I already unlocked that variant....but a 2020 AT Tacoma eats up $75 of profit ...2020 MT another $75. There's a lot of variants.

 

i’ve been seeing a lot of these tuning offers popping up all over the place. I would definitely be up To paying the cost to have it done if Matt @OVTune
could chime in and verify doing this is legit. Not Questioning the OP here at all. Just skeptical!

 

The reason they built VFTuner is to support custom tuning just like this. OVTune is active in the VFTuner thread which stemmed from his initial tune efforts. Please give them a review and checkout his comments throughout. You will find comfort in what he is trying to do and ultimately that the services being offered on completely in line with his intent on what folks can do. It's the platform made to create just such services.
