Just installed ovtune last week,2018 tacoma 1.05.1, 91 performance, it still wants to shift to 6th at under 40mph and still gearhunts constantly, I is jumpy but do notice more power any suggestions?

If you don’t notice anymore power press the pedal to floor. As for shifting to 6th at 40, never happens for me not a single time.

Come to think of it I didn’t purchase the tune for more power. I like the added power but I purchased the tune for better shift logic and it delivered that hands down besides the 2019 bugs that he’s working on.

The power is good it's the constant shifting and going into 6th at 40mph or under

I intentionally shift to 6th at 40 all the time, it's a great cruising gear for nice straight long streets.

Are you looking for genuine help? Or are you just here to vent your dismay?

If you want help, I'd recommend tuning down to the 91 base. It removes the touchy pedal. I've also heard that 2.0 is dropping soon for the AT and that it's a HUGE improvement over 1.05.

Why are you on 1.5.1 instead of 1.5?

Flummoxed huh bro? Your eyes are still adjusting to light. Take it slow and choose your battles. This baby’s gonna burn on its own.
