    All the time!!!
I'm wanting to get some different mirrors for my 2015 Tacoma, I've got a 2015 Tacoma that I put my side-on popup camper on, and drag a trailer with motorcycle's and Kayaks on it and the slide-on popup sticks out so wide that I cant see a thing without adding the mirror extensions on them, and they vibrate and wiggle like crazy. I checked with Toyota and they have no trailer mirrors so I guess its after market mirrors, or the wiggle things I've got that I have to add on when ever I go to leave. I've seen them like this and was wanting to know if anyone has got any of these, and what brand, and complaints? ag.jpg s-l1600.jpg dh.jpg zb.jpg hj.jpg And what the brand name of yours? Is there another kind or style you wish you'd have gotten these aftermarket mirrors are all new to me. Thanks!!!

I have that mirror from a group buy @mach1man001 set up a while ago
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/closed-proefx-towing-mirrors-gb-3.366610/

I don't have them installed too often (if I know i'm towing, I'll install them and keep it till I go off-roading next) but I love them. They're awesome when towing and much better than any clamp on solution. No complaints. Check out the group buy thread (and previous group buy threads linked in there) and you'll find reviews from other people who have it.

I also have them and I keep them on all the time. turn them up when we go camping, and the give a great view. they do vibrate a little when they are up, but not bad. they are worth the buy all day long. when they are down they also give a better view than the OEM mirrors

I own a set from 1A-Auto, short answer they are big. For what I used them for I did not need to flip up. I tow a small 16” foot tip to tail TT. They vibrate a little but not so much. Field of view is better than stock obviously but the clarity and quality of stock mirrors beats the towing mirrors.

I ended up putting my stock mirrors back on. I kept the towing mirrors to maybe put them back on.

    They work, Good luck

ProEFX and @mach1man001 ftw. Great customer service and very happy with my mirrors. Only issue I have found is how the side of the mirror re-directs bug splatter into my face when driving with the window down. I do not have signals or heaters in mine.

I personally also have had a few different brands of these mirrors. I tried swapping a cou[le times with different companies due to some vibration in them while driving. I tow quite often and like mine they are very useful. That being said, after trying the proefx, and A1 auto as well as Amazon and ebay, if you look behind the triangular mounting area they all say made in china. Doesnt make them a bad mirror I just think some company there makes them and whomever buys them sells as their brand much like many other products.

That's what I was wondering, everyone I've seen they all look the same, but I was checking I wanted to get the best I could find so I guess the best warrantee, would be the best for what your getting.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
David, my company came out with these about 5 year's ago and I have had them on since day one. I hear about the problems with the strap on mirrors all the time and these are a great alternative that will fit all your needs. If you have any questions or would like to order any of the 4 different models that we sell please contact me anytime.

Bought mine from 1A-Auto too. Work like a champ but do vibrate a bit but I can live with it.

I bought the proefx for towing boat. I never use them in “up” position because they are wide enough for me. They fold in when needed in the woods. I really like the convex mirror built in for checking side clearance.
Very easy to install and have had them 2 years with no problems. They do vibrate more than stock but it is not an issue for me

I bought the set from 1A auto. I put them on and they were practically unusable due to vibration. this is driving on the Thruway in NY. Some might say that is rough terrain but I will leave that to you. I had to spend too much time trying to make out what I was seeing in the mirrors. There is an easy fix for this. I went to Home Depot and bought the sticky felt strips that go on the bottom of furniture for hardwood floors. I put it between the bottom of the mirror and the case. It added enough stability to stop 95% percent of the vibrations but still allowed for the power mirrors to move.

I ended up taking them off anyway. they are in my basement. I am someone who gets really fixated on noises. Until I can figure out and fix a noise it drives me bananas. In the case of these (A1 Auto) mirrors, I got a popping noise at high speeds.... sounded like a vibration but I believe it was the way the wind went around the mirror. I tried taping off gaps and no change. I may try them again but at the time I got so frustrated that I went back to stock.

I will say this, I wish I had spend $50 more dollars and got the highly rated ones. I am now stuck with the thought that my noise problems are due to the quality of the mirror. do the research, spend the money and get ones you trust.

    Carl
