P0012 CEL 32K miles...

Went out to grab some Pho with my wife this evening and took my truck, halfway to the noodle house check engine/track off light comes on.

Eat, get back in the truck lights still on.
Get home, hook up my OBDII dinglebop and look at codes.

P0012.

Truck is a 2015 TRD OR with 32000 miles.

I'm taking it to the dealer in the morning and just wanted to air my disappointment with you guys.

 

When was the last time you changed your oil?

 

As well as how many miles on that oil before the change, and how much is on the dipstick?

Changed the oil about 2000 miles ago.

Yah I know what the code is, I have a code reader, I'm going to the dealer in a few minutes we'll see what they say. I've read some pretty terrible things that it could be. I would much rather it not be something huge.

No other symptoms, acceleration is fine, sounds normal.

 

At least you're still in warranty. Who changed your oil last?
