    Hey y'all,

My truck ('98 2.7l 4x4) is throwing a P0120 code (Throttle Position Sensor). I unbolted the throttle body from the intake manifold and cleaned the CRAP outta the throttle body with a toothbrush and seafoam... its so clean I'd drink my coffee out of it! The truck idles a lot better now, but after a few miles the P0120 Code came up again.

Do you think I just need to bite the bullet and buy a new throttle position sensor? What would the repercussions be if I didn't?

    Thank you!

You need to buy a $20 blue tooth scanner from Amazon. Monitor your TPS readings as you move the throttle.
If you don't change it: Loss of fuel mileage and performance. It will eventually foul out your catalytic converter. Costing you ALOT of money to replace it.
Or just go buy one and put it one. See if it fixes it.

Just get a DMM (digital multimeter) and
    Adjust.
